Beekeeping Equipment to start with

I am often asked "What do I need to get started in beekeeping?" The answer to this is actually complicated, as there are tons of options (size of hive bodies, type of frames, etc).  In this info sheet I describe the fundamentals as I like to organize my hives.  My recommendation to anyone is to start with the Minimalist approach - you can always buy more items later.  I also recommend NOT starting with gloves. Yes, you will be nervous, you will get stung, but you will get a much better feel for working with the bees.  If you feel you must start with gloves, just wear some yellow dish washing gloves. Did I forget anything?  I'd love to hear from fellow beekeepers on how they would change and add to these lists.
